THE JOURNEY FROM STREET TO SCHOOL

The journey of Aarohan, an NGO providing free education to underprivileged children in the Indian capital New Delhi, started way back in 2005. Since then, with the help of various individuals and organisations, Aarohan has been able to transform the lives of thousands of children, who would have otherwise become victims of child labour. MIGTV visited the NGO to capture the stories of these children.

One such success story is that of Bhawna, whose life was changed by Aarohan when she joined as a student, and now she teaches in the same institution to change the lives of others.


NGO BUILDS CLASSROOM, BUYS DESKS

A non governmental organisation dubbed 'giants group of Nairobi' has constructed one classroom and donated 150 chairs and lockers to Kimbule Primary School in Ganze constituency Kilifi county.

This will enable learners have a conducive environment so as to boost the schools academic standards.The organisation received an invitation From Miss Kenya 2005 Cecilia Mwangi’s foundation.
