Give Towards Growth: A Clarion Call
One in every five of the world’s out-of-school children is in Nigeria, that is about 10.5 million of the country's children aged 5-14 years are not in school even though primary education is officially free and compulsory (UNICEF).Education is the door to future prosperity, and without it then breaking the circle of poverty,is almost impossible. Girls and boys who learn to read, write and count will provide a better future for their families and countries. With improved education, so many other areas are positively affected.
In short, education has the power to make the world a better place.
A country's economy becomes more productive as the proportion of educated workers increases since educated workers can more efficiently carry out tasks that require literacy and critical thinking. In this sense, education is an investment in human capital, similar to an investment in better equipment.
When you educate a child, you give so many other things like Hope, Joy and Diginity. Education exposes the children, into living harmoniously with nature and without conflicts the society, which in the long promote behaviour and health issues.
